Fabric Collage Frame: Mixed Media Boho Wall Art

Mixed Media Shadow Box. "The Quiet Empress" is a one-of-a-kind mixed-media wall artwork that radiates quiet strength, inner beauty, and soulful elegance.

At the center is a serene portrait of a woman crowned delicately, her gaze lowered in contemplation—evoking introspection, grace, and feminine wisdom. She is framed within an ornate, hand-embellished arch bursting with texture: embroidered florals, metallic threads, hand-applied jewels, beads, and shimmering details layered in rich teal, ruby, gold, and turquoise tones.

Picture is set inside of the box/frame with Mod Podge. The picture is one that I found on Pinterest, and the original artist of this picture is Manuel Nunez, 1956. I did add the crown. Some beaded material embellishments have been added to frame the picture. Picture area is 8x10 inches and 13 x 12 inches including the frame.

The frame is made from heavy duty cardboard and is meant to be hung on the wall and not played with. It is delicate.

The "shadowbox" frame of the picture has been made with upcycled, vintage, beaded materials. Some imported, some local.

Each piece was hand-picked and shaped to create a vintage collage look. It's colorful, eclectic, and would make a great addition to any room that you choose to display it.

The picture with frame is very lightweight and can be hung with a regular tac.

Would make a great gift for that someone special. It's very unique and one of a kind. It's a piece of art that you don't see very often and it's sure to bring a lot of compliments. It is very pleasing to the eye.
